White cloth painters glove covered with vinyl or nitrile glove. Use caution with turning. DO NOT get the glove caught in anything that spins. It will pull your hand in quicker than anything.

Now, that was a very unfortunate accident/incident, avoiding infection, needs to be your priority and off-course, find ways to avoid getting the hurt hand hitting on everything, which is always the case, huh...???

A friend just told me "well you never get hurt by doing something smart." Almost smacked him with my sore hand. But he is right.

Hard way to learn to turn with either hand, hope healing goes well. I have heard that voice before, failed to listed, and just lost 1/4 inch off my fingertip. Got lucky!

Take a few days off from turning. Do something else that keeps your hand safe. WAIT till you can turn again without the gloves......Better to be safe.
