I Have pen(s) and a camera. My issue is that I can't find a way to save the pictures with a reduced pixel count. The camera and software insist on saving pictures at high quality with a lot of pixels and I can't get it to save at less pixels so I can submit pictures to this site. I've read the camera manual and the help section of the software and can't make it behave.

I have Pens and a Camera. The problem is the Camera saves pictures in High Resolution with too many pixels to be acceptable here. I've read and re-read the camera model and there doesnt seem to be a way to change it in the camera. No hard copy manual for the software furnished with the camera. I've gone through the help section and it hasn't offered any help.

Frustrated here. This is my fifth attempt to reply to this thread. I hit "Post Quick Reply" after keying everything in but it doesn't seem to "take".

I DO have pen(s) and a Camera. the camera only has one resolution for saving pictures: High resolution with a lot of pixels. The software associated with the camera doesn't appear to offer a way to re-save the file on the computer at lower resolution. I've read and re-read the camera manual. The software has no hard copy manual and the on-line manual and the "help" section have not helped.

Ernie, I have sent you a PM... If that doesn't work out or you have other problems, let me know...

Would it be within the rules to have someone resize an image for them?

Eric, Thanks for the offer, but no, in a technical reading of the rules, that would be akin to showing the photo somewhere online...

Well, you can solve the problem by downloading a pic size reducer software online, there are plenty of them for free, you then download your camera pics to it and then resize them to the norm 800x600 pix and download those into your posts..!

I use this one and it works great, just make sure you download the version that is recommended for your own computer operating system...!

Good luck,

Cheers
George
