Thought I would throw a picture up. Three packages arrived on Wednesday. Seven packages arrived on Thursday. I'm sure my rural mail carrier is not happy. She had to get out of her vehicle & leave these seven boxes on my porch!

It was like Christmas Day ripping open packages & seeing what goodies were inside the boxes. Wife hollering supper is ready... Me hollering back....I'm busy...be there in a minute...

The blanks arriving were amazing... Thanks to all for their generosity!!!

That is funny Edward Cypher. Let me give you two tickets to the Super Bowl. Now the tickets are free but you have to pay for Airfare, Hotel, transportation to the hotel from the airport and to the stadium. At the game there is beer, food and souvenirs to buy. Transportation back to the hotel then transportation to the airport for your return flight home. Don't forget all the meals you will have before the game and after the game. So for free tickets to the Super Bowl is like getting a bill for a few grand. We are in this pen turning to have fun and turn some wonderful gifts and items for sale. To have all of my Blanks paid for and all I have to do is buy the kits is a win. They look great. Would be interested in seeing all your blanks together. Congratulations on your win.

Updated pic. On Saturday I picked up package #13 out of the mailbox. Here is an updated picture. Fantastic blanks. Many of these blanks are stuff that I've only seen pics on the Internet before. Folks on here are super generous to say the least. My thanks to all. I will provide another update pic toward the end of the week.

That looks more like a vendor display table at a local wood turners show.
You should make up some wild story for your mail carrier as to what the boxes are and what you are doing.
I cant wait to see a pic of all 50 boxes!
Enjoy!
Bob

I am sorry I sent mine so late. To make up for it I upgraded it to a medium flat rate box. I barely had room for the bubble wrap. I really hope you enjoy it. :)

I bet you could come up with some excuse to tell the mail carrier why you are getting all of those boxes other than the real reason.. Something you can whisper to them.. tell them not to say anything to anyone...

Wow Billy! That is awesome! I can't imagine how big the pile will be when you get the rest of the boxes! You had better get a bigger space to lay them all out!

Are you afraid that USPS will call the cops saying there is some suspicious activity going on here?
The drug dogs are probably sniffing your incoming boxes already!:biggrin:

Charlie,
Package 23 arrived today. My counter space is about gone & there are still another 27 packages on the way! It is a terrible problem trying to find that much counter space but I will deal with it somehow!

My only problem about the postal carrier is that I'm working. I would love to see her expression when she has to get out of her vehicle & carry more boxes to my front porch. I will be having Spring Break in a few weeks. Get a little time off from school & I will be able to catch the postal carrier making her rounds. I will have her a gift ready for all of those extra trips she had to make for me!

30 packages have arrived. Running out of counter space. Starting to double stack blanks now. Brownsfan2 must have felt sorry for me...he sent a medium box packed full of blanks. I'm not sure how he got all of the blanks to fit inside of that box. It is truly amazing to see how generous everyone has been sending blanks. My sincere thanks to all.

My apologies for not posting any pen pics yet. Allergies have been killing me this past week & living on Benadryl pills...pen pics are coming soon!

I think I speak for everyone when I say WOW! Call me crazy but I doubt you'll be buying any blanks for a long time....and you still have 20 boxes to go!
Congrats! We're all very happy for you ~
Cheers
Bob

Sorry for the delay sending out your box, I have been swamped at work. (I'm typing this at 7:09 AM Sunday morning from my desk at work)
I will get it out very soon.
In the last pic you posted, what kind of blank is that on the chair, I like that one!

Again, WOW Billy! And now you have to put on your "Armed Guard" hat to watch over all those goodies!
You had better see your insurance agent and bump up your hobby insurance coverage!

Bob I think that is from the very rare 45 tree, probably illegal to grow in this country.

No rush! I understand that swamped work bit. That blank on the chair is a Kimber Ultra Carry II .45! Just made the purchase on Saturday afternoon. I will take my CHL this coming Saturday & that one will be going to the range to test with.

Update on blank stash! So far 36 participants have sent blanks. One fellow from England has blanks on the way(expecting a delay on those to arrive due to distance.). One set of blanks scheduled for arrival tomorrow. Another set of blanks on the way shortly. I'm going to wait till this weekend & post one final pic. I need to claim my counter space back. Thanks to all who have sent out blanks. Much better selection than going to my local woodcraft store!

Interesting.....you hit the pen-blank lottery and suddenly there's a need for a .45 ~ hmmmm.... you must live in a rough part of town.

Hmmmm... maybe I better make a call... I know an undercover cop in that town.:biggrin::biggrin:

I actually like to carry a weapon with me when I go to my shop to work. I live out in a rural area. I've had coyotes standing in the yard by my shop looking at me when headed toward the shop. I've also stumbled upon wild hogs in my front yard when carrying the trash down to my trash can. There has been a mountain lion observed walking down the road I live on. So I prefer to carry when walking about my yard in the middle of the night. Plus I have had two legged varmints actually break into my house in broad daylight.

Considering the size of this superbowl stash of blanks, I feel like maybe I should just move some items out of my gun safe. And move this nice stash of blanks into my safe for safe keeping!
