Recently we had some fun with a Word Math problem in a post titled "Is it Just Me".:confused::confused::confused:
I thought it could be fun to have another go with a similar word Math question?????????:wink::wink::wink:

1. Bob and Betty are enjoying a train trip through the Centre of Australia.
2. Stan and Jane are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary with an Ocean Cruise.
3. Gold was discovered in Western Australia in the late 1880's.

SO!!

What Colour Socks does the Train Driver wear as he pulls out of the Ohio Central Railway Station at 8am on Fridays?????????:redface:

Think carefully, there is a correct answer.

Bob.

The Pancakes on the Roof were eaten by the Railway Passengers.
Maple Syrup from Northeast Ohio was used.
My Mom lost her keys in the Backyard while Gardening.
ROYGBIV

There has got to be a color in there somewhere!?!

Dave, those deductions are about as good as my clues:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:.

If you Google Central Australia you will find some reference to the "---" Centre.

I spent a bit of time yesterday googling around central Australia - the southern portion of the Northern Territory, in the Alice Springs area. I also contemplated any relationship between the capital letters in each of your statements and the locations mentioned to see if they revealed any hint to a color pattern. Yet, my mathematical/accounting brain has not yet come up with an answer to your puzzle.

It is fun to try to figure puzzles out, even when there may not be an answer.

OK then.......Red, Blue and yellow gold!

OK, so the three colours from the clues/statements are RED, BLUE and YELLOW.

These colours are known as "-------" colours, and when mixed together in equal portions make BLACK.

However, Black is not the answer, there is another alternative?????????

Bob.:wink::wink::wink:

Never mind ... That RGB makes white

The first correct answer was from GOFER.
So Sorry Bruce, I missed your post. TOO early in the morning, my eyes aren't open properly yet.
My sincere apologies.

And we have the correct answer TWICE.

WHITE

Dave, you were so close with the ROYGBIV (Rainbow):frown:

Thanks everyone for playing.

Bob.
