Jet 1642 Owners, A Little Help Please?

Can someone verify the footprint of their Jet 1642. The best information I have researched is 56 1/2" x 20 1/2". I've pretty much settled on buying the 2 hp. 1642 soon but I need to figure out a space for it in my basement shop. Thanks
 
That's a good lathe choice. I've had the 1.5hp version 110 volt and it has been a great machine, however if I were getting another I would get the 2hp model. I since bought a used powermatic 3520 so this takes care of the heavy loads. Happy turning
