Beautiful Pen, Phil.
Love the appearance, colour and pattern of the Horn.
Glad you sealed it with CA, did you also CA the bore and the ends, to entrap the odour as well?
Ideally suited to the Black/Ti Emperor.
Excellent fit and Finish.
I only wish that the photographs were a bit sharper, but I am sure you will overcome that.
Outstanding work.
Brian.

Phil,
That is outstanding! Didn't you make one out of a Big Horn Sheep horn? Seems I remember that, and it too was a work of art! Again, well done.......Jan

Yes it smells delightful (not). Had to do a CA finish due to all of the character or cracks. Reverse painted it black.

Education question Phil...is the horn opaque enough that reversing helped, or was it a "Just in case" treatment?
Great looking work by the way!!

Jim burr the reason is the opaqueness of the horn. Here is examples I have. Dall sheep on left paired white, warthog tusk in middle no paint, and longhorn on right painted black in top pic.
