Beautiful grain and segmenting !! Only thing I personaly would change is the gold clip and replace it with a black one. Seems like there is one to many colors in your color palet. Just my slanted view. Jim S

thx...the thing is when i try to go thinner...i break the ring when cutting off....have any tips? its very frustrating

You can glue the ring on one end and turn it down to size both diameter and thickness. You could also add a very thin black line between it and the wood and it would set if off quite well.
