Hi peoples,

I'm pleased to announce that, I got myself a Mr. Anonymous/biggest order/sponsor, for a total value of US$5,250.00

The first US$250.00 order is for a pen for me to make with a blank selected by Merissa, the remaining US$5,000 of pen blanks value, is to be donated to IAP members, in a form of my own games prizes, donations to IAP calendar contests/events and any other situations where I see fit, for a donation.

For any games and or prizes resulting from my "events", the "condition" or should I say, "strong suggestion" is that, the shipping values to send these better prizes to the respective winners, has/should to be covered by the prize winners.

And while the main bulk of the money deposit in my account as, "order payment", will be all returned to IAP members, while the money lasts, and allow my blanks to accessible and enjoyed by everyone, the main reason, or should I say the thoughts behind this order from Mr. Anonymous to us "George's Bits of Timber", is to allow Merissa to get treatment through the Private system and be taken care of immediately, instead of the Public service where, the wait can be of 9 months or more...!

Now, what do you call this...???

Do you have have words to express it...??? lets us know about it as I have a few but, I can't find one that translates what all this, mean to us...!

Take notice Jeff, you have created a very special place with lots of special people, all IAP members should be proud of being part of such a generous and kind family, I know I am...!

Thank you Mr. Anonymous, I will make sure your "contribution" goes to the right places...!

Lets have some fun, then...!:wink::biggrin:

Cheers
George

George, this is amazing! Whoever the "anonymous" person is, is certainly nothing short of a saint! I hope, for Merissa's and your sake, that you all can find her some amazing care thanks to this act of kindness and generosity. Never have I seen a group of more caring, kind and generous folk than here in the IAP. Best wishes to you and Merissa!

That is wonderful, I hope you and yours get all the help she needs. God speed!!! And Heaven has a special place for Mr. Anonymous or Mrs. Anonymous. The people on this site seem to always be paying it forward!!!

Wonderful George! My son, Timebandit, was the recipient of the same type of gift. There are very special people here that just amaze me in paying it forward. Hope it goes well for your misses and congratulations to you and all the people that will be receiving your marvelous blanks.

George,I'm glad to hear Marissa will be able to get treated quickly,I hope she has a speedy recovery.

Mr.Anonymous,Thank you for your generosity.

Thank you Mr. Anonymous, that is a wonderful gesture and I'm sure that Merissa and George are extremely grateful.
Young George always has fun providing his games for us all to share in, and I look forward to the FUN.
Thank you again.
Bob.

Every once in awhile we need something to restore our faith in humanity. Hard to find a better example of this. Even harder to find better, more deserving people. Best wishes to Merissa, and heartfelt thanks to Mr. Anonymous! Russ

Very happy for you George! I too was the recipient of someone on this sites generosity recently. This quote from Winston Churchill says it best. " We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." These individuals have not only made a life for themselves, but for the ones that theyve helped.

Beautiful people

My the gods bless the anonymous person who did this lovely dead , generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out.
So proud to be part of this great family and to have friends like George and Merissa gods speed to Merissa's recovery both of you take care and stay safe.

Around here, the word would be: Grace

To put it in context:
Justice: When you get what you deserve.
Mercy: When you don't get what you deserve.
Grace: When you get what you don't deserve.

That's not to say you don't deserve it, George. But it's a flash of love in your present darkness - hoping it shines a light in all the right places!

Thanks everyone...!

You are all so correct, giving just a little, is all its needed to change big things, I always wanted to be able to feel the "power" of giving, and I'm always doing that, in a very small scale that represents my resources however, I know how it feels and how rewarding, something so small and simple can warm your heart. I just can imagine the size of Mr. Anonymous heart, from all these acts of kindness, it should feel pretty good, be in his shoes, and you know what, he deservers every bit of it...!

I'm trying to organise a calendar of events within IAP, mine and possible others, and consider how the $5,000 of my blanks, will be distributed among as many people as possible, in the most fair way. Is not too difficult, is mainly a matter of getting organise for that purpose, something that I'm working on, right now so, very soon, my own contests and prizes, will be a reality, again but, only better...!:biggrin:

Cheers
George

I know the intent of being anonymous, however I wish I knew who it was so that I could make an extra effort to support their store/site/whatever. I realize that is not even a factor in why they gave, but I believe in paying back as well as paying forward.

Hi peoples...!

Well, is about time to start these "games" and distribute all these pen blanks from my collection.

As mentioned before, I have $5.000 of blanks worth to give away to IAP members, when winning prizes on IAP related events/games, I have about 2 years to complete this is, is better start soon.

I was not sure of what parcel sizes, IAP members would prefer to pay (shipping) to have their prizes sent to them, anywhere in the world, a recent poll (still ongoing), has shown a that, a very large majority of voters, have selected the 500gr package size @ AU$13.00 so, I've got that part sorted out.

Some quick calculations show that, the value of the prizes is of about US$2,500 per year, from July/2014 to July 2016, this represents an approx. value of US$210.00 per month, for the next 24 months...!

The Summer extravaganza events, have been provided with 9 x AU$30.00 gift vouchers off value so, that one initiated the donation process from Mr. Anonymous to all IAP members, through my own contribution off-course, to make sure everything is done right and as planned.

OK so, this puts the situation to the current times, I know that everyone is waiting on the "games" to start so, lets do this...!

Good luck everyone..!:wink::biggrin:

PS: Any issues you may have, in regards to what was said above, please contact me by PM or email.

Cheers
George
