My humble workshop in which I just added a buffing station. The size of it is 58" x 103" thus adding to an already big foot in terms of supplies and equipment to the small shoe of available space. It did cause me to move every item and change the amount of shelves available... but it is cleaner than ever and I do like the fact that there is no wasted steps. for sure.

All I need is another reason to make pens, can't afford food now... come to think of it pens for weight loss now there is a marketing idea . What ya think?

Thank you Edward and everyone for you kindness... it seems the space I had to work with drove the need to organize. The only time it is an issue is when a client comes to learn what pen making is about. I can impress them with the display in my studio but it is a little crowded in the workshop. Although I give it a little try.

Thank you so much Chuck... I was following your progress somewhat did you get your shop set up? If so how do you like it?

I notice you have the little Rockwell Blade Runner. Do you like it? I purchased one a year ago or so. Tried it once then listed it on Craigs list for$75.00. I got zero response. It is now collecting dust. Anyone in Denver need one?
PS: Very nice use of a small space. I'm envious.

Thank you, Les... The Blade Runner has helped me with the space issue the last 2 years or so... no doubt... it does have some real neat bells and whistles also... it is not powerful though... but it is fine for cutting blanks of all types... a word of caution buy blades with fine teeth 17 or so even to 24 and replace often... but even last night I cut soft metal just fine. Just have to go slow. Horn and antler have been the greatest challenge but with the finer blades and going slow I have had better results. With certain material there is a need to use the speed control also.
