Pros and Cons of using reg bushing over TBC bushings. I'm thinking about trying TBC bushings on my Bolt Actions and Gatsby pens. Just wondering if they are any better then the other.

Thanks

The big advantage is that the TBC bushings and MTBC bushings (TBC bushings with a mandrel hole so you can turn either way) tend to be more consistently accurate as to size and run-out.

The "consistently accurate" is the key phrase. One set of mass produced bushings may be right on, but the next set you buy, maybe not. The (M)TBC bushings tend to have better quality control IMO.

And the fact that they are made with better quality steel means they will last longer and are less prone to be 'misshapen' if hit with a chisel/gouge.
