SN Gent Pen kits

I have someone who want a large but not very large pen,I was thinking of making a SN Gent,I've never made this pen before.Are they very big and ugly? does anyone sell these pens?

Timberbits has them. Or at least they used to have them. They are a large pen to be sure. How about something the size of a Jr. Gent 2 that is sort of a medium size?

How about a Cambridge or roman harvest? Might be a good consideration

The Spring Blossom from Timber bits is a nice larger diameter pen. It uses a 14mm cap and ~12mm barrel tube which results in a pretty substantial pen.

I've done fairly well selling the SN Gents. I like the way they look and I use one personally. They are quite large though and have a bit of weight to them. I believe you'd need a 37/64 bit for the cap and 15/32 for the body.

Looks really good dressed in IBO. I am making one for my organ builder brother-in-law after he gave away two of the Jr. Celticus/IBO to his Ma & brother in Dublin.

Timberbits website have photos comparing the size of the pens. It is cool. Look at the photo comparison between the JR and SN pen. It also show the SN with a Cigar and Sierra.
And yes it is a large pen. I would hate to call it "Big"
