SWMBO is visiting our daughter for a couple of days and I am home alone. Just hope I don't get into too much mischief.

Anyway, lunch time today I boil the kettle for a cuppa and take my lunch (from the Baker) into the lounge. All good so far, then when the water has boiled I realise that there is no milk in the mug, no problem with that, so I put the milk in and head into the lounge and just before I sit I realise that there is no water in the mug???. Crap!!! now I have to go back into the kitchen for the water.:redface:.
And it was looking like a good start to the day.
But I did get my shed clean-up finished.

Bob.

Bob,

A while back I was stood at the front door with the remote control pressing it wondering why no clicks releases and lights on at one yr off 80 I empathise with you. Every day is a great day.

Kind regards Peter.

I have thoes "Here after" moments... When I go the the back of the shop and can't rmeember what I came here after. The other day I must have stood there for a few minutes before I realized I was just standing there staring off into space.

Almost every morning as I approach my office I start pushing the unlock button on my car remote and wonder why my office door is still locked!
Maybe it's just too early

It's the doorways!

You go from one room to another and say, "Now why did I come in here?"

Everybody knows that passing through a doorway erases your memory! Scientific proof.

And I can't count the times I've walked up to the front door and pressed the button on my car keys to open the house door. I hear the CLICK behind me and have to relock the car before I can get out my house key.

That's what you get for having one of those new fangled car locks. On my truck, I put the key in the keyhole turn it and it's unlocked, push the button (with the key in my hand) and it's locked. The door I enter the house through is never locked, I carry a house key but use it very infrequently.

Earlier this I was talking to my oldest Son on my Cell Phone. While talking to him I was walking around looking for my Phone. I was getting ready to take my Granddaughter to her Karate Class and told her we would leave as soon as I found my phone and which time my son said DAD and then I realized what I was doing. All I told him was wait there is more to come and headed out the door. As I get older it harder to multi task. I am laying Laminate flooring in our house and one day I had 12 pencils, 4 tape measure and duplicates of other tools lay around my work area besides 3 glasses of water. It seem if I set something down it would disappear and I would have go get another one. Oh it will be entertaining for the kids.

I picked my laptop sat down on the sofa and couls not remember what I wanted to look up.

That is called "Googleheimers", where one decides to look up something, and before google finds the answer, one forgets the question. Been there done that (i think..)
