Differences in cap sizes

Is there a difference between a roller cap verses a fountain nib cap on a Jr. Gentlemen?


a client said he put the cap on the FTN pen and the next time he took the cap off the nib was bent.

Bill the short answer is................. no! The tubes are the same, and the final is the same .

I don't beleive there is any difference in the 2 caps. I had this happen once before because I very slightly shortened the barrel by over milling the tube.It doesn't take much,very little clearance in the cap to nib end.

I agree and also check to make sure that the feed was seated all the way.
