Some of you may know (and many will not) that October is pastor (or clergy) appreciation month. You also may or may not know that I am a pastor. Well, this morning, after our service, my congregation surprised me with a cake (last week was also my birthday) and a 'token gift' - his term. I opened up the card later. $250 gift card to Woodcraft. :-). I guess they know me. I'm thankful.

Dan,
Always know that many love and pray for you.
Thank you for the work you do for His glory.
May the joy of The Lord be your strength.

That sounds like the perfect gift.

My dad is a pastor also, last year during fall revival the preacher we had started the ball rolling. Giving did a good surprise with $800 or so. I would give him a pen but whenever I bring a new one in it some how (no idea) ends up in his office.

Dan, as a preacher's kid let me also send my appreciation and prayers for you and all the other pastors that serve their congregations so faithfully. I know that you will enjoy the gift card. That $250 will certainly be easy to spend in Woodcraft.
