With the permission of Jeff I am running a couple of sales with the $$$ going to the Red Cross.
When we turn in the money my husband's company will match the donation dollar for dollar.
If you have watched the news lately they could really use the money right now.

I have 9 boxes of corian 2x2's with some free pen blanks along with the box
There is over 200 2x2's in 12 colors in this box
2x2's can be used for many turning items including pendants and can be glued up for larger blanks or sliced for segmenting.
If you need any instructions for gluing please let me know and I can e-mail you.
The colors are
Olive green, Martinique Green Burled colors, tumbleweed and sagebrush
swirled colors, cirrus white, Verde Green, Chamois, Earth Brown, Ecru
slightly swirled an lightly sparkled, Natural Grey and Camel
In each box are 5 - 3/4" corian pen blanks
Ivory, Black ,Dark grey with specks, white with black specks and sand
There is also 24-25 1/2" pen blanks in Corian and Avonite. some are cut special this morning from my favorite colors.
The boxes are about 32 lb and I can only offer this deal to those in the US because of the postage.
Each box is only $15.00 and the postage for a medium flat rate box is $12.35
So the total would be $27.35

the second sale I also have 9 boxed of glued up corian by the fabricator cut for bottle stopper blanks. These blanks are approximately 2" long by 1 1/2" square.

They are $10.00 a box for 12 blanks and one glued up piece of corian just to fill the box.
Flatrate for a small box is $5.80

If any one wants to combine the 2x2 box and a box of the blanks I can do that only would need to remove some of the 2x2's.
I can also combine several of the boxes of bottle stopper blanks in one med rate box.

Alice, I'm not interested in any of your corian offerings, but seeing as how it's for such a worthy cause I would like to donate twenty dollars. I know it's not much, but with the company your husband works for doubling it, sure makes a difference. Could you please let me know how I can make this donation? Thanks for doing this.

when the sale is done then we would write a check and then his company would match it going to the Red Cross

I still have a few boxes left. I am hoping to sell just a few more. I will give it another week and then will let everyone know how much we were able to donate.

Just got my box on Saturday can't wait to see what I can make out of them. Although I think USPS took the note on the box that said "Do Not Drop" as a challenge, plus I think they decided to see if it would sink in the water LOL (box was extremely mangled and soaked all the way through, they broke a few of the pieces but overall they all look great).
 
Got my box of 2x2 last week and played with some pieces over the weekend. I guess I did not read carefully enough because I ended up with a lot more variety than I expected! This was a great deal.

Yes Chris, I do have a couple of boxes left. The total with the postage is 27.35 to Alicecall@comcast.net. All the profits go to the Red Cross and with us turning it through my husbands company they will match what ever is donated.

I am glad everyone got their corian ok.

Steve, that is a new one! I have never heard that the box was soaked. maybe they went boating and used it as an anchor !

Now you know why the box is almost completely covered with strapping tape!

thanks to everyone who bought Red Cross corian boxes and to our donator from Canada!
It was not a huge sale but every bit helps!
The total before doubling was $170.00 So we will be able to give another $340.00 to Red Cross!
Thanks again and thank you Jeff for letting me do this. The offer is still open if anyone has any questions on using corian or needs directions e-mailed to them.

The corian is beautiful, Alice. I haven't had a chance to turn any of the pen blanks yet, but I have turned a few of the bottle stoppers and they really came out great!
