I can't seem to catch a break this month...

After completing the bearing swap, my turning experience has been quite pleasant for the past several days... fast forward to this afternoon.


I started getting a little mandrel hop while turning a Sierra blank and my first thought was I had just found out how long the eBay bearings would last. After a little investigation I discovered that my live center is failing.

Already preformed... I threw it out the shop door and into the field... now I gotta go find it this afternoon so I don't run it over with the lawn mower and tear up a blade.
