Spalted wood Rollerballs

Had some time in the shop yesterday so I made a few spalted wood.rollerballs.
CA finish on all.

To answer a few questions, The kits are Ligero kits made by Daycom. I bought them from Smittys pen works over a year ago. It appears he no longer has them available. I bought them on special for $5.50 each.

The finish is 10 coats of thin ca with a sprits of accelerator between each coat. Micromeshed through all the grits then polished with plastix polish.

Love spalted wood except when you turn a piece and all the spalt gets cut off and you end up with a very plain Maple (or whatever) pen.
