I made a bulk purchase of some Baron rollerball kits that had 4 different platings from another IAP member more than a year ago. I just pulled out the Black Titanium kits and noticed that the plating on the nibs was defective. They have a golden hue on one side, but the other side looks normal for blank titanium.

I was wondering if any of the custom/kitless makers used Baron parts, and might have some leftover nib they might want to sell/trade. PM me if you got something.

I think my next step is the contact one of the venders to see if they can supply these parts. I'd hate to lose 5 otherwise perfect kits.

Hey Tim!!

I think you will have difficulties.
Black ti is different shades of gray from different suppliers and even in different batches, I think. It will be very difficult to match. Now, if you could use platinum or chrome, I have an answer for you.
