I did a test label of the tube (wall st). I just wrapped it around and cut it where they meet. It was 21/16" length. The dimensions for the image I want to use on Word says 1.16" high x 1.41" length. Is there a formula to convert that to a more manageable number"

1/64 is .015652"
1/32 is .03125

So, divide your .16 by .015652, you get 10.422/64ths

or .16/.03125=5.12/32nds

The easier way is to convert everything to thousandths of an inch, but it sounds like you don't wanna do that!

You appear to be dealing in 16th's on an inch. The decimal equivalent is .0625. The circumference of a circle is Pi x the diameter. Pi is 3.147. Measure the diameter of the tube with a digital caliper and multiply by Pi. Then divide that number by .0625 to get the number of 16th's.

So, if your image is 1.41, you need to reduce it to fit.

93.1% will do the trick.
(6.9% reduction)
