Need your help, again....

My friend is opening his resturant (Stan's American Bistro) on 16 sept 2013. I have some ideas for a "grand opening" pen, but don't know how to pull it off.
1) Change the Tiagos's to Stan's and change the date.
2) Place Gold banner over the name and date underneath.
3) Place Stan American Bistro on one line in place of the Library Expansion and change the date.

Mike; Go to cool text logo and graphics generator on the web. Design your logo and print it on your printer. They are free, and should have something you can use. Jim S

IMHO, your idea #2 would look best on a pen, but make "Stan American Bistro" a little larger so it shows up better.

Okay, my worthless opinion, first one is too wordy. Third one, I'd be tempted to put the name of the restaurant in the banner so the main attention is drawn to the name. Put the "Grand Opening" and date wording under that. I like the 2nd and 3rd ones best for a pen. The 3rd on would be my first choice. If I were doing this I would use a photo editor to resize and print to decal paper.

That's what I meant. I don't know just seems to me the name of the shop is the most important item. However, someone who knows advertising my totally disagree with me and they would probably be correct.

I would combine two of them into one logo. Use stans-american-bistro2.jpg (but lose the blue background) and place it above the gold Grand Opening banner in grand-opening-logo-banner.jpg. replace the name under the banner with the date, and leave the address where it is at the bottom.
