I heard a buck fifty is the norm? ($150.00)yeah, but those are made by a "big name" brand pen house...Pelikan, Cross, Mont Blanc - one of those, I can't remember which
I bet they charge a bit more than "we" do.
Worth a look, not worth that amount of $.

Everyday I'm vertical is a great day
I have a daughter and son-in-law who can and do that sort of thing - they are good people who also help their aging parents (his parents are both born the same year I was) but I still hold to the same opinion. They are worth every penny to the folks who buy them. I have a neighbor who thinks I'm crazy paying $10.99 a pound for steak but to me it's worth it and I can afford it. If I could afford to buy one , it didn't hurt my bank account and I liked it I see no reason not to buy one. I also would love to live in a $1,000,000 home drive a Farrari F40, and give Dee Diamonds I can't but there are people who do and can so these were made for them to have and us to wish.
Its pens like this and others that people will buy and spend 10s of thousands on that enable people like us to sell a $500+ pen. The big names that charge 10K for a pen makes it so 10K of us pen turners can each sell a $100 pen.
I'm assuming you are responding to my post - if I'm wrong ignore this. Don't get personal....my opinion is not reason for you to make personal attacks. I don't question anyone elses motives or reasons for their opinions and you have no right to question mine. Additionally I didn't say one word about "everybody should abide by" what I believe. To say such a statement represents the judgemental eyesight of a person that is either jealous of what others spend their money on or a person that believes only what they think is the correct way that everyone should abide by.
For you to think that there could be low end products without there being high end products baffel me. Human nature of "most" people are to strive for bigger, better and more expensives things in life, very few people would be happy with only a Ford, Chevy or a Bic. There is and always will be a market for the finer things in life and not for people as you put it..having more money than brains. For a man that we have all seen spend large amounts of money on pens and other items I would think you would be one of the last people to speak about people having more money than brains. Just my thoughts as I have more of those than I do money.

For you to think that there could be low end products without there being high end products baffle me. If you believe that everyone strives for "bigger and better" so be it. I don't believe that. Some folks yes - others certainly not or if they do they purely do avoid working to get more.
Taken in context, you were applying what you said directly to me. That is especially true when you started your next paragraph usine the word "you" meaning me.I'm assuming you are responding to my post - if I'm wrong ignore this. It was to you as the Iphone didnt work properly while using the multi-quotes.
There was nothing anymore personal in the statement I made than yours, you said spending that kind of money for writing instruments was "having more money than brains" I said having that kind of thought was judge mental, or a person that thinks everyone should abide by their thinking. Both statements yours and mine are opinions. Nothing personal just thoughts.
I have not said a thing against you or anything thay you said that can be taken as a personal attack on you - I said I disagreed with you. I did not say that your views only represented "those of someone who... followed by a couple of derogitory examples". You did.Smitty, I wasnt trying to attack you personally, just your views on such an open ended subject. We can agree to disagree, or we can get personal over such a trival thing. I am game, just let me know what to do next.
I think someone stated the price as being $20,000 to $88,000. I don't think they'd go over too big at most fairs.Nice..what do you suppose those things cost, and could they be sold at fairs?
That is without a doubt some beautiful designing and fabricating.
