My wife went shopping last week and this is what she brought me. I'm up for the challenge of turning these. Besides keeping the garage door open for the smell what are the hints and tips?

Those look like a nice size.

If you use CA to glue in the tubes - it dries up super fast on antler so get the tubes in right the first push.

Sometime the center can be a little soft, so go easy on the sanding. I once pressed a little harder when it got soft and it just got worse. If you hit a softer spot like that the maybe harden it up with some CA (I haven't tried that because I haven't hit a soft patch like that again)

The image makes them look kinda old to me. It's not a bad thing but do watch for the fine white powder. I usually don't put CA on antler but older ones I will because of the cracks. I think they look better with some character
