Whew. 108 yesterday, 105 the day before, supposed to be 108 again today. And the humidity is up. Granted our 15% humidity means very little to you folks east of here but to us that is a lot more than normal.
I guess Fresno is the cool spot on the map! 10-15 minutes in the shop at a time today. 108 and something with a lot of 1's in it on Monday

Two words...window AC. Mine keeps my 20x20 shop at 80 degrees for about a dollar a day.

I Have one Sharon...several factors against me...outside wall, 8'x22' and 8' ceiling. I have my air scrubber running, 3 fans and the A/C...I turn early:wink:
I lived just up the river at Poughkeepsie and Wappingers Falls in the early sixties....same weather, same No AC...Couldn't wait to get to work where they did have AC - also not unusual to get 20 inch plus snow storms at the other end of the cycle. In the early 60s I lived just outside of West Point at Highland Falls NY. We were just a few blocks from the Hudson river, and in the summer the temp and humidity ran neck and neck at about 95. With no AC. I'll take Phx at 115 with AC and 7 percent humidity any day.
Heard they canceled flights out of Phoenix because the heat was so bad it caused problem with lift for plane trying to take off.
