Kitless Vintage Black and White Cebloplast

I've been making quite a few of these Wahl-Eversharp types lately, finally working up the guts to risk some precious vintage cebloplast. This one has nearly the identical dimensions as the Crushed Blue Velvet pen of last week.

The bands are sterling silver and the nib is a polished steel Jowo from Brian Goulet.

Did you fit the body diameter to the sterling size or did you turn the sterling down with the acrylic?
And what keeps the silver from tarnishing? A coat of ca?

The sterling can tarnish, but it's not like silver plate. To keep the finish shiney, just wipe with a jewelry cloth.

Thanks Chuck. Actually, you're right--it wasn't difficult. Ceblo works beautifully. You just need to remember to drill slowly and use water frequently.
