been a busy week. hope i don't get in trouble for posting this in the pen section, these are chalk holders. hoping for an end of school rush. posted a couple on facebook and have a lot of friends interested (although i've been down that road before)
this was a good opportunity to give the new lathe and turning tools a work out.

Chalk holders look great! 20 years ago when I started teaching, I would have loved to got my hands on something that fancy. At my current school, we've replaced chalk boards with smartboards. Chalkboards sure was easy to use though.
 
Beautiful! All of the schools around here use smart boards now. If there was only a kit with exchangable dry-erase fills, it would be a huge hit!
