Get it right eventually

First trip to this wood, forgot the wrench, the chain fell off.
Second trip didn't have oil for the bar.

Now time for the third run. I cut up a few, didn't mess with the burls. There is soft wood, burls, worm holes (a few worms in them), Spalting.

Wife's friend from college is coming in from upstate New York, so I think it is time to head down to that tree. My wife's intelligence level drops incredibly the longer she is with her old friends from college.

They are Beech.

Yes they are! :biggrin: We spent about 3 hours cutting them into slabs today! I have more wormy spalted beech than I can shake a stick at! LOL! :biggrin:
