Shipping to the UK

How long does it usually take to ship Priority to the UK from PA ? I shipped a pen on March 24th and it hasnt made it as of today April 2 They had a 2 day holiday. The tracking hasnt updated since the 27th when it was in Chicago.

It can take awhile - It probably got to England within 2-3 days after you mailed it. Chicago is where it left the USA from. On the other side of the pond unless you paid for express mail, it can take a bunch of time before it clears customs. I've had them take a week and I have had them take a month.
 
Once it leaves the states, I've found the tracking stops!!!!!!
Generally found 14 days is about max from US or UK to here.
Still waiting on some blanks that were sent Mid January, USPS must have sent it on another Titanic or someone in Customs liked the blanks???????:biggrin::biggrin:

Tracking stops unless it is Medium Flat Rate Box or bigger, then with confirmed delivery tracking continues in many country.

I'm not sure where you are, but the sender can initiate an inquiry via USPS and through US Customs and your Customs to see if it reached your customs. I have had packages get held up in a foreign nations customs where they wanted tax or something and never got ahold of the intended receiver because the phone number wasn't on the customs form.
 
Allow at least 2-4 weeks. It can also be 5-10 days.
The UK postal service won't even think of initiating a search until at least 6 weeks (it may even be 8 weeks) has elapsed.
We've had this happen a few times, the packages were always found in some warehouse (clearly adressed, nothing owing for postage, customs, duties etc) for some unknown reason our packages had just got filed away.
We were told that 'lost' packages can only be traced from the receiver's end (ie UK) not from the sender's (in our case Canada). Any search has to be initiated by the recipient.
