Very nice work! My dad has been a taxidermist for 40+ years. I've dabbled with deer head, squirrel and fish but wood working got in the way. It's something I hope to get back to someday.

Nice work, but why does the picture look like its a painting?

Must be cuz my work is soooo smooth LOL. Seriously maybe because I take the actual photo to Adobe Photoshop and remove all the background, correct the white balance and add a new digital background.

Here's the same mount with a different background (aha see that little white spot in the cattail leaves - oops missed a spot with the new background)
