With Dee having another hip replaced this week and both of us loving old cars we purchased this yesterday as her new show and go car. The '51 pickup is just to uncomfy for her and she loves this one. With the Ricaro Seats and smoother ride she made me buy it.... :rolleyes: er asked me to buy it...er said it was OK to buy it.
Its a 1965 Malibu/Chevelle with a 350/350 turbo, has a wicked cam and
and sounds soooooooooooo goooooooood. Guess I'll have to chang my Avatar

That brings back memories. One of the favorite cars that I have owned was a 1967 Chevelle SS 396. It looked a lot like this car.
 
Skip, I'll get you some photos up when I get back. I promised her a ridetoday, will be back in a couple of hours.
 
Man, just made me miss my 60's mustangs. Wish I had the funds to get back into rebuilding cars and racing at the track. Fun times.

She looks great, know the 1/4 mile times?
 
Very nice, I'm pretty jealous. That'll be close to my next car. Recently picked me up a little 1948 DeSoto, so I'm good for now on the car front.

If I leave the seat up I get yelled at. Not only did Roy leave the seat up but he left a nasty note and she let him get away with the whole "I'm buying this for you honey" routine.
 
Congrats Roy, you now have another 'beauty' to the collection. Hold on to your DeeDee, she's a keeper especially with her taste in older vehicles.:smile:

Hot Rod Mamma!! Looks like a hurst shifter and some very nice VDO gauges. I hope the red toggle switch is for some NOS:biggrin:. I'm a die hard chevy lover and that is one sweet ride!!
