Being a shy person, I mean almost paralyzed shy, I do not socialize much and don't know anyone who shares my taste in anti social hobbies. Anyway I used to spend a lot of time on a photography forum that was a nice place when it first started and was a small community. I got irritated with the holier than thou wanna be arteest attitude that I quit stopping by. I wondered back over there lately to ask a question and post what I thought was a link they would appreciate. I got nailed for putting my question in the wrong forum by 3 folks in like 5 minutes, and they were not mods. The link I posted was blasted rudely.

Thank you for being nice, and making this a pleasant place to hang out.

shy or not thanks for stopplng by here and thanks for what you add to the site.
 
It's a great place! I also like how I'm starting to get to "know" (over a forum know) a few members, including you!
 
You will find that anybody who has to tell you how great their work is, or how much better their skills are than your's, usualy is the one that farts and is the first one to smell it because of the proxsimity of his or her nose to the sorce, if you know what I am saying. You can comment on someone's work without being rude, and tell them what you don't like and what improvement could be made and how!! 99.9% of the people on this site are AAA, but as every group has, we do have .01% that are just A's. Glad you enjoy this site. Jim S

That type of nonsense drives me crazy but I have found no forum is immune to it. Just the other day I saw a post on here to a new guy that simply read "WRONG FORUM!!!!" Maybe it was the same guy as on your photography forum.

And if you see something wrong here, we ask you to use the yellow triangle. If it is the wrong forum - we can move it. If its a person trying to be bossy, we can deal with that too. But we don't read every post, so we can miss issues. Please point them out when they do happen so we can deal with it.
 
I have seen some unpleasant times here. Though I would rather these times didn't happen, they remind me of the great peaple I get to be around here. It gets handled with kindness and guiding information as I wish it would always be in my life. It is inspiring for me. Thank you folks.
