The Bash is coming up very quickly - less than a month to go now!

While vendors provide a lot of prizes to the Bash, we have a lot of contests that require prizes. Traditionally, we've had members donate boxes of blanks to fill out the prize list.

If anyone would like to donate a box of blanks or other prize to the Bash, please send me a PM. We ask that the value be $25 or more, so that we can ensure everyone gets a good shot at a good prize! :smile:

I've had a few questions about this, so I thought I'd post a follow-up to hopefully address some of these questions! :smile:

Yes, anyone can donate to the Bash - doesn't matter if you've been here three years or three days

The prizes do not have to be boxes of blanks - could be a lathe chuck you got for Christmas but didn't want, or any other penturning sort of prize...

All prizes are going to go to your fellow members, so it's a community building sort of thing...if you want to donate, great - if not, please participate in the Bash anyway - it's a month of fun and (hopefully) lots of prizes! :smile:

If you choose to donate, just let me know what prize you have in mind, and I'll put it in the books. You'd then get a PM or email (your preference) from the prize delivery team with the address of the winner after the contest is over. Nothing easier! :smile:
