I wonder if the long click, since it uses a Parker style refill, might work with the Schmidt pencil mechanism, like the ones sold at indypendance and exotics?

Just tried it. The Schmidt mechanism won't go past the writing tip bushing!

Often there is some modifications needed, including drilling out the tip ever so slightly.

Hi Lenny; It's not the tip that won't go through the nib hole. It's the mechanism won't pass by the writing tip bushing. The mechanism has to go in top end first through the writing tip bushing!
