Thanks everyone. Andrew, I was mainly looking for sizes that others use, like if 10 x 1 is stronger than 9 x .75 etc.

Lots of details on kitless in the penturning forum and all the kitless guys typically post details with the pens......In fact there are very few here that wont bend over backwards to help a fellow turner.
