I once lost a sale because of Charlie Daniels. My wife had not yet switched her phone to vibrate at the beginning of a show. As she was helping the first customer of the day, her phone rang (which was a Charlie Daniel's song as a ringtone). The customer explained how ticked off he was at Charlie Daniels for cancelling a show at which he had tickets. He then stated that he couldn't believe we could support such an inconsiderate sob and walked away.

Oh well, such is life. I had Charlie Daniels blaring in the shop just last night.

Good on ya and it sucks to be that customer, he missed out on a good pen just because he's carrying a grudge.

Devils playing fiddle down here in Georgia ain't a new thang! Can't swing a dead cat over your head without hitting a fiddle player:).... Or a devil either.

I understand that he had to cancel some shows a while back due to health issues. If one of those shows affected that lost customer, he's a big old jerk, in my opinion.
 
My wife got to play with Charlie Daniels a while back. Actually, he technically played with her. She went on and on about how nice he was to work with.
