As some may know I busted my thumb a month ago......just got back from the docs. Another month in a cast that I hate and at least a few weeks in a splint. Not a happy camper.

Rick,

Ouch. I know how you feel. I broke mine a couple of years ago doing martial arts. Had to wear a splint for a couple of months. Never did have to wear a cast. Now days I don't have near the flexibility in that thumb that I did have.

Ouch.. thats a bummer and I'll bet hurts the Mrs almost as much as you!

Maybe more man! I dont do confined or limited well! Recovery time is always difficult for me and I can be difficult to live with at times. This also means she has to do the brunt of our fall work and my boy and I are missing out on hunts we have done since he was 2.......sorry to sound like a broken record.

As Joe mentioned this is gonna be another month in a cast, then 2 weeks in a splint before I can even start the work of getting my hand back to normal. I live for snowmobile hill climbing and mountain ridding. Summer, better known as "Sh%^y sledding" is the torment too me!.......I'll be lucky if I am strong enough to hill climb even with a lefty throttle on the sled by April. I am already going nutz not being able to get in the shop, it ain't gonna be pretty when it starts snowing!
