We held a fundraiser this week at work for one of my employess who's 2 year old son has a brain tumor. I donated 4 pens (with supplies from fellow members) for a silent auction and a very strange thing happened. All 4 pens sold for a total of $530. All the folks that won the auctions, paid for there pens and offered them back to the second low bidder raising another $480. Two of those guys offered the pens to the 3rd bidders raising another $175. The funny thing was watching the bidding war's all week. It wasn't at all about the pens, but it was great seeing the out pouring of support from my fellow employees to help this young boy. Just those 4 pens I made from an addiction just paid for 6 weeks of radation co-payments. AND THAT FEELS GREAT
