Congratulations to Mary for putting up with you these past 45 years.:biggrin::biggrin:
Let me guess, you're happily married.... you're married and she's happy.

Congratulations, John! I hope Mary is getting her strength back!

She is improving, but she does not know it. We have an appointment on the 24th to "consult" to have her gall bladder removed. Sheesh, what a process to what seems to be so obvious. She is able to walk, and is eating better. She had 1-1/2 ounce of fish, 1/4 cup NO FAT cottage cheese, one tablespoon of vegies mixed with elbow macaroni.
Thanks for your concern.
John
P.S." I got so involved with receiving an order from Penn State and making sketch pens as awards for the Plein Art, Paint the Lake, event that I forgot to get her something. A phone call from a friend reminded me and off to the store I went. We usually try to go and enjoy a dinner but she cannot eat so food was out. What is next? Flowers and a card. I have a friend who is making a jewelry box for her birthday on the 20th of this month. I think everything will work out.

Glad that Mary is around to "celebrate" your anniversary. My wife and I have made it 43 so you are still ahead. Enjoy the day.

Congrat to your missus !!!

We've only been married for 24 yrs but my wife says it feels like 64
I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

Cheers mate,

Sympathy for your wife had my Gall Bladder removed many years ago following several visits to Intensive care heart section, same symptoms as heart attack.

I turned 78 recently been delerious ly happy and married since 1955 July. Smartest thing I ever did.

Kind best wishes all round, reckon it takes 15 yrs to settle down 5 yrs to shake the predudices I brought into the marriage, five to shake hers and five to shake the ones we both developed although simple they needed attention.

Kind regards Peter and Wilma

Congratulations John and Mary!
I hope she gets well soon. I'm sure it takes full strength to keep you in line!

I hope that you have many more years together, CONGRATS!!!!

Congratulations, glad to here Mary is doing better. Only 39 years for me and Peggy

WE had a blood count today and she is doing much better. I had not realized that here had been damage done to her liver which is under repair. September 24th is consultation to get that danged Gall Bladder removed. Thank you for your kind words. Oh, I did manage to get her a nice red rose and a card that she really loved. Her birthday is on the 20th and I have a nice gift planned for here. I am paying for it by doing inventory at Rockler on Sunday the 16th. Things are looking up.

I'm sure that Mary will love the gift,But maybe all she needs is a real date with you.
Take her to a movie sit in the back and make a pass at her,she will feel like a kid again.
you both can remember and laugh about that the Well dressed couple in the wedding photo who ran off with each other and left life long best friends behind.
Bless you both.
