My 22 yr old daughter was admitted to inpatient rehab at the pyche center over the weekend. She had been fine up until this time. She is like a 5yr. She can not formulate any whole sentances. She looks at her mother and me like we got 3 heads.. My friends and family are praying, but I need the help of my IAP community to help me. She was to start community college today, needless to say that isn't going to happen. I don't know when-or if she will be able to start school... :frown: We didn't have a "medical power of attorney" so her care is being handled by a lawyer appointed to her..Thanks.

Mike,

It is with sadness and regret to learn of your daughters situation and we pray for a satisfactory outcome, sometimes our children are endowed with what we call every possible advantage and some display negative characteristics that impede their progress as well.

Our belief is that your daughter will be given a second oportunity to fulfill her calling.

Kind regards Peter and Wilma.

Mike, I am so sorry. All of my hopes and prayers go out to you, your daughter and the rest your family during this most difficult of times. May she make a full and speedy recovery.

Since I am dropping my own daughter off at college this morning, I will be praying for yours during my 5 hour drive home. I cannot imagine your sadness. May the great physician touch your daughter, your wife and you today.

Mike: Prayers have been offered. I hope all goes well. Keep us posted. joe

Wow Mike, I am so very sorry! I will be praying for you, your daughter, and your family! I know of a family that went through something similar whose outcome might be of encouragement to you. There was a young man whose Mom sometimes goes to our church. He was on a trip to Europe and they think someone slipped something in one of his drinks while he wasn't looking, and it messed him up. He had to get mental help, and for awhile people were praying for him and a few people from our church went to pray for him in person. Over a few months he did heal, and is now in Community College! I don't know what road you are going to have to walk down with your daughter and family, but I wish you the best and I know that God will do what is best for her. If you trust God with her He will be a great comfort. God Bless you all!

David
