I love shopping at Tuesday Morning because you never know what you are going to find.

Tuesday Morning offers big discounts every day of the week, but not every week of the year. The closeout retailer sells discontinued merchandise from name-brand manufacturers at steep discounts. Its merchandise typically includes upscale linens, china, cookware, rugs, and collectibles that are not seconds, irregulars, or factory rejects. Tuesday Morning's 850-plus stores, located in more than 40 states, operate only during monthly "sales events" (with the exception of January and July). The retailer keeps costs down by selling from low-rent locations and using seasonal help. O'yes they have pens!

Keep in mind no two stores will carry the same inventory. However, I am lucky because I live about 15 miles from the mother store, the warehouse store, in Dallas.

Today, at another store, I picked up some Monteverde ink for $3.00 and noticed they had a Monteverde Carbon Fiber Fountain Pen for $65.00 (I have no idea if it is worth the $$ or not). Over the years, I've noticed a number of high end pens for very reasonable prices at various stores.

So, the next time you see a Tuesday Morning Store, drop by and see if they have any pens. They are always kept locked up in a glass case in the front of the store or maybe not (I've seen expensive pens in the toy department).

It is kind of like a garage sell where everything is new, they don't know what they have, and don't know where the items are located.

Off topic, but I can't help it. I'm showing my age here, but where did you find the Tomo Terrific pic for your avatar? Seeing that immediately brought back memories!

As indicated before, a simple Google search for "Tom Terrific" did the job. Of course you can forget "Mighty Manfred the Wonder Dog".
