I finally found it

After 7 months of being in Oklahoma I finally found chicken and waffles in Wichita Falls, TX. Oh it was better than I imagine. I went to the 11 annual Leadership breakfast today and heard someone talking about it so I had to ask where. Found it at a restaurant called Cheddars.

Besides Chicken and Waffles in Wichita Falls, there are also some mighty fine pen turners there too.

That picture looks wrong. I doesn't look like chicken and waffles to this Californian. Probably pretty good eaten. Can't have fried chicken a waffles DR. says no no.

I was going to brother but my mother-in-law who was driving down from Minnesota broke down outside of Des Moines, Iowa and my wifey was having a hard time figuring out how to get her.

But I will be back down in the Falls that is where our corporate office is plus I need to find a store called Sutherland.

I do a great deal of traveling for my job and on one occasion I was in LA and had to drop in at Roscoe's to get some of their Chicken and Waffles, but I'll have to say that the absolute BEST place to get breakfast in LA is "The Griddle Cafe", this place was crazy and by far the best I've had between coasts and Europe as well. Just my opinion though.

While I am not to the point where my food cannot touch each other on the plate, I have never been able to have sweet and savory on the same plate. But CHICKEN and WAFFLES then that would mean syrup on the same plate. Are you kidding me. Yuck.

You should stop in at Imperial Palace in Vegas & have breakfast @ the Hash a Go go restaurant- NO it;s no a strip club! They have the best breakfast ion the strip IMHO & reasonably priced to boot. MY cowboy buddy had the Chicken & waffles about 2 lbs worth.

I have a good friend that eats milk gravy on his cantaloupe. I have yet to give that a try, but fried chicken will go with just about anything, some what like bacon.

I like chicken on my waffles too - but I like the chicken when it is still in the egg form! Over easy on waffles - good stuff. Fied Chicken and waffles - doesn't score to high for me! But glad you found it for you!

There's a hole in the wall restaurant by work that serves the best chicken and waffles in town. Just a mom and pop joint that specialize's in fried chicken and waffles. I always thought it was a southern thing!
