As I make Cigar Illusion pens I'm finding that I really get a kick out of the gold embossed bands! I have quite a collection of vintage bands now too.

If there are any cigar smokers here on the forum, I am looking for some "high end" bands, such as Opus X that I would be willing to trade for. I have some really nice pen blanks (amboyna, HRB... ) and some kits to trade. I saw an ad for a cigar named "Vindicator" but can't seem to find any of those either.

Anything from "Oliva," "Alec Bradley" and "My Father Cigars." : )

Would you like a Cigar band of "Cheap Bastard" or "Black Pearl" (Also a member of our IAP as his "name" ? I also have an empty "Cheap Bastard" box if interested.
 
Martin, will these work for you?

it's only a handful, but i picked out the ones that had the best foil work on them or were a classic shape.

they all have either a gold, silver or copper embossing.

Heck, I am looking for any cigar band. Especially ones with dates on them, such as the 1962 Cuban embargo labels. I have many wood blanks and some antler.

John, if I get any bands that might interest you, they are all yours. I'm not a collector.
Would love to meet up at Lake Arrowhead sometime and chat over a cup of coffee. I'll bring my cigar bands and we'll have a good time.

Thank you to those who messaged me and sent bands.
I sent out packages yesterday to all but one. I hope to get the other out today.
Now all I need is for the temperature to cool off a bit so I can get back out into the workshop and make some more pens!
