After starting a fountain pen center it drew questions about Calligraphy Nibs and supplies. Now it is necessary to educate myself on the art of Calligraphy. Can you steer me to where I may "read up" on the art and who sells the nibs

Please can thank you.

All of the version of the speedball booklets are great for starting out. Their dip pens and nibs are well known and used in more teaching locations. As they work well for the money.
Check out Calligraphy - BLICK art materials They have a lot of info on line, plus they carry a lot of items whether it is inks, nibs, books or sets along with everything else you need.

Before computers took over, I used to do calligraphy, making invitations , certificates, etc. It's a pleasure to write well with a fountain pen and see a customers eyes light up when they see this pen can do that!!! You'll make many sales from demonstrations like this. Practice, practice, practice...when you are in the bathroom, at lunch, at the dentist or doctors office. I practice with the felt tip models as it allows me carry it wherever and no refilling.
Good luck, the suggestions above ar good, also your local library should have many how to books.
