I finally dusted off my laziness and was able to photograph some of my recent pen turnings. My photos do not do justice to some of the awesome castings I have obtained.
The first is a slimline with a stylus attachment from CSUSA.
I hope that these become popular at the shows with all the touchscreen devices available now.
My 15 year old refers to this one as "Clown Vomit" as I have no other name for it I cannot dispute him.

Next up is a Brooks Blank I had requested in a Detroit Lions Color.
As usual the colors are right on and are an amazing swirl pattern.

Thanks to a sale by Landfill Lumber I was able to obtain several burl cap/acrylic blanks.
This one was applied to a Wall Street II kit from Woodcraft with the stylus nib.

A Slimline in Neon Green with Gun Metal Hardware also includes a stylus tip from CSUSA.

Another Slimline in Red/Black Swirl.

My new favorite, although a bit HEAVY a Majestic with "Earth's Core" by RhinoPlastics blank.

Last of the bunch is a Sedona Fountain Pen in Tiger Myrtle.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking pens! How do the stylus caps look / work? I've been wondering if I ought to get a few.

Great looking set of pens. That neon green sure jumps out at you, doesn't it!!

I was wondering the same. Seeing that you have some from CSUSA and Woodcraft/Berea, I was wondering if there is an obvious difference between the two? Does one seem to work better than the others? Is one smoother than the other, or one scratchier than the other?

I have a mix of both.I bought the mini stylus kits from Woodcraft and just robbed the parts onto a slimline. The others are from CSUSA and work just the same.I have not had any issues with either in my home trials.I did buy the installation/press bushing from CSUSA to go with the kits.

Now if we could modify the Jr gents, retros, statesmans we would be set.
I saw a post were one was done.Looks great but I am not sure I have those skills.

I can't speak for all styluses, but the CSUSA stylus I'm typing this out with on my iPad2 has been in constant use on it since I got device about a month ago. And it saw frequent use as a demo at work for about three months prior to that.

It's holding up well and the only downside is that typing is a bit slower using it. But then I don't have to constantly clean the screen from fingerprints, so that is a big PLUS!
