Shoptime and requests

I was able to get in a little shop time had a request from customer for a pen and pencil set in executive satin. It was all planned out.








The Majestic is a new color of abalone shell. Think I will call it Ice Blue. Let me know what you think.

Very nice and calling it Ice Blue seems to fit. I gather that you add the tint to the casting material and the range of colors would be infinite.

Actually it is all in the shell and not the casting.

Am I seeing separation of the PR and the tube on the gear pen where the components are pressed in?
I have that problem and it gets me DOWN:frown:
Carbon fiber helps but then you don't get the cool background images.
I've opened the clearances on the tubes and glued the components in but don't know if that's the right fix.

It was a stamp he only had one and wanted a set. He didnt want to look for a second just said scan and print it.

Roger, my thoughts were the same as Eric's - there was only one color of abalone with minor variations. Where might one get an "Ice Blue" blank?

Thanks and its ok to let her see it. To be honest the picture dont do it justice. I really need to take a class on photography so I can take better pics and do them justice.
