Would this work okay for making ballpoints and rollerballs to fit parker refills? Seems like it should. Maybe I'm just looking for examples that have already been done.
Here's my doodle.
I'd make a little hole for the long end of the refill to fit into, then a shoulder for the fat part of the refill to butt up against, and then I'll either make the barrel to fit snug against the refill to hold it in place, or put a little plug in there. I think drilling the hole only deep enough for the refill would make the pen too back heavy and uncomfortable to hold. So drilling and a little plug made from... cedar? And then of course a cap to cap it off.
