I was recently contacted y someone from Croatia who is writing a book about Ginkgo Biloba and wanted permission to use a photo of a pen that I made using Ginkgo. I of course sent him the highest resolution photo that I had of the pen. In return I've received an pdf copy of the book with my photo included (with credit of course) along with some other photos from other artists.

Very Cool.

The pen itself is a one piece closed end slim, and wasn't anything special as the wood is very nondescript, but it was special to the couple I made if for. But now its "famous" if you are into scientific type books. lol

I might have to look into that book. I am a science teacher, and a plant nerd, LOL. Ginko Biloba has a pretty cool looking leaf on it, and all of the leaves fall off the tree on the same day. Pretty cool trees.
