My wife and her Mom are off on their annual pilgrimage to the Philadelphia Flower Show so I have the house to myself! Taking the afternoon off from work to go play...I have a stack of to-be-cut or turned blanks that I can't do with her in the house...ebonite, antler, horn, bone...all the stinky stuff! Supposed to be warm here the next couple of days so I can get the house opened up and hopefully "refreshed" before she gets back! All of the above materials are banned from use when she is around... and she wonders why I don't mind dropping her at the airport to go visit Mom...:biggrin:

What gives, you have a shop day but you are one here. Git ta workin, we want to see some photos tonight.

Lucky you!! I am in the same boat of not being able to turn or drill "stinky" material when my wife is around. No doubt though she will still smell something when she returns even if I have been airing out the house the whole time. Have a great time!

Yeah, women are crazy sometimes. If I turn an acrylic pen, my wife can smell it a mile away and complain about it being so "strong", yet she'll sit down in the living room and paint her toenails!! With acrylic nail polish!!

Well, it stunk.... left the house fan on today, hoping it will be clear when she gets home tonight...

Did all the cutting and drilling with the full respirator setup, so didn't smell a thing, until I took the mask off for a drink...gaaaaa... I now have a bunch of dismembered gators, giraffes and ebonites (where do they live?) to work with!
