I found this video last night. The 2 dark blue Chevys in the middle of the video were projects I worked on. The sled is 46,000# and getting it moving is one thing, but stopping is hard on parts. The frame stores built up energy that is released when you come off the throttle. Everything I've ever broken was from shutting down.

The 2 blue ones run a tall deck 427 bored .060 over with a 454 crank. They end up at 464 c.i. The class limit is 465. The 78 Chevy dynoed at 740 h.p. Torque was 980 lbs.
