My First European Pen

This was very different for me to do. Having to make a tenion I was nervous, but I did it and am very proud of it. However, I did not write down what kind of wood it was and I do not remember. It is curly something if that helps! :wink:

Euros are one of my favorite to turn. Once you get the hang of the tenon they're a breeze. And the added bonus on most acrylics theyre thick enough to not have to paint tubes!

Great job Cherie. Fit looks perfect. My guess on the blank is it's either black ash burl or Australian Brown Mallee Burl. What finish did you use?

Mark, I used about 4 coats of CA and then a couple of the HUT Gloss bar.
This is a test run for a sumac pen I need to make for someone, had to see if I could do it.
