I am hoping someone may have a suggestion as to a U.S. dealer for a MT2 lathe extension sleeve, male/female. I am running a Jet 12/20 and want to be able to extend turnings further away from the headstock. Any help is appreciated.

Bill,

Please let me know how this extention socket works. I have same situation as yours, but my lathe is a General Model 25-200.

Branden, it looks like Rick came through for us. I was having a bit of a problem finding a good source for the extensions. Rick's suggested links look real good. Ironically, the better-made one (hardened and ground) is the one in stock; the other less expensive one is backordered. I am definitely going to look into that site. Unlike many other turners, I have my lathe set up on a higher bench to minimize the strain on my worn-out back. The only drawback is that it causes some problem when I am working a piece close to the headstock. I think the extension will help me a lot.

Rick, thank you very much for your suggestion.
